I think Bo is at that part of life where he just makes up stories.

What makes this greater for me as I just assumed he was going to be like…. I welcomed them to the new NFL…… but his honesty and humility are so genuine and his ability so unparalleled that im glad he told it straight…

Yea the part about 3 kids and married as a 2nd year player. Is that true?

He’s been married since 1987 and they have 3 kids

Yes, way back then in the good ole days players were getting married in high school.

Forgot about the gap year he had when TB drafted him

No idea, but the last two stories I've heard him tell have either been flat out lies (see Nolan Ryan bloody shirt story) or one that somehow there's no vid to support

got married in 1987, had kids with his wife in 1986, 1988, and 1989. His second year in the NFL was 1988, so not quite true because his third child wasn't born yet.

He was there a LONG time ago.
In an SI article in about '88 they asked him how he stays in shape for Fall Pro football and big muscles while playing Baseball all year and he said, "I take walks in the Park with my wife". Bo always LOVED playing up to the Paul Bunyon myth, that it was all effortless...his childhood stories he told way back are something Homer would write.

Brian Bosworth knows
I hate when people act like that was some amazing run. It really wasn’t that big of a deal. Similar plays happen in every NFL game every season.
