$3 mil a year in child support is insane no matter what daddy's salary is. That's more money in annual child support payments than 90% of Americans will earn in their lifetime.
When you see stuff like this, it makes me wonder why more athletes that aren't married yet when they achieve all this wealth and fame don't get a vasectomy and just freeze sperm so they don't end up accidentally knocking up some chick whose uterus is her retirement plan.

When it comes to domestic/custody/child support issues, the women have an enormous, if not ridiculous advantage. The more you make, the harder you'll get screwed.

I agree this is unbelievable yet it happens all the time where rich men, especially professional athletes, entertainers get saddled with this.
To this day what still amazes me, is that these same men, refuse to wrap it up. Or they could just jizz in a few cups, freeze it for later when he wants kids with a normal woman. Get a freaking vasectomy. shite, these days it's very possible and to just get it reversed. Jizzing in a cup and freezing it in a lab is just as good. I just don't get why they are so damn foolish and allow themselves to be extorted.

Why can't a portion of that be taken out to support the kid and also we know part of that is to support a lifestyle, so I do understand that a portion of that should be paying for a nice house and other things, but again, those things should be beneficial to the kid.
But the most important part, at this point you should still have hundreds of thousands of dollars left over every month. Why is it that the Mom just gets to keep it and it's not instead put into some sort of trust fund for the kid? For me, that's the bigger issue than the amount he has to pay, it's how it's spent, meaning it just goes to the Mother to do whatever she wants.

Blake is forced to buy an equivalent lifestyle house, clothes, etc etc for the kids
But he buys it directly, and pays the bill directly instead of going to the woman. That way it is being used on the kids and not jewlery for the woman or meals for her and her new boyfriend

Yeah, as a percentage of income, in pretty sure my wide and I spend more on our kids than Griffin will.
How we, there is a certain level where that percentage should be irrelevant. That level is far south of $285k per month.

Especially at this level of wealth, it would be nice to see it set up that way.
And like I said, they could probably do all that for $50k/month, and even that is being generous. The remaining $200k can go to a trust fund for the kid when they're 18.

In TN it caps at $2100 for one child, $3200 for two, $4100 for 3, $4600 for 4, and $5000 for 5 or more. There is no universe where $250k/month is appropriate.

the best legit jobs to avoid child support are 1099 work that allow you to move
doctors are masters of this racket. constantly forming new LLCs and working for different hospitals/clinics . in different areas. once the paper trail gets too big, they just move on to another area or stop working for a bit
once support gets set, it's very difficult to get it increased b/c they don't let the documentation accumulate enough

After seeing the horror stories for men leaving divorce court/custody battles, having a child seems very unappealing to me.
