People seem to remember Cowher and Gruden to be better coaches than they really were the longer they remain away from the game. Each has attained almost legendary status. It's unwarranted IMO

Gruden is the coveted guy for every NFL AND college position that comes available.

Window of opportunity is about 4 years before these guys become obsolete. Cowher's done, jimmy Johnson is done. Gruden is getting close to being done.
