They have played every year since 1946

Side note:

That year had the first "Game of the Century".

#1 Army vs. #2 Notre Dame.

The game ended 0-0.

Notre Dame finished the year by whipping USC 26-6 and won the National Title.

Army finished #2.

Both teams had the same record but the pollsters gave the title to Notre Dame because they beat USC bad.

Notre Dame only beat two ranked teams all year. #17 Iowa, #16 USC and tied #1 Army.

Army beat #4 Michigan, #13 Duke, #5 Penn and ties #2 Notre Dame.

But Notre Dame got the nod. It pays to schedule big name teams sometimes.

I love Bedlam. Even when Okie St wasnt any good they always gave OU a game and even ruined their national championship runs a few times.

Michigan/Ohio State is the only answer.

Michigan/Ohio State is the classic I always get to see.

USC/UCLA is maybe the best looking game though, and I always miss it. Red and Blue on Green flavored with Gold. Beautiful.

Clemson and South Carolina. Very underrated. So much hatred between the 2 fan bases.

Used to be Nebraska vs Oklahoma, now either lsu vs Alabama or lsu vs auburn. The big 12 has some fun matchups also.

It's the ND vs USC game, especially when it's played in South Bend. Granted, they haven't played each other in a couple years.

Wut?

To answer seriously..

An Iron Bowl that decides the west, or a super cold looking Mich OSU game.

In both cases, the unis lining up against each other just scream college football.

It's the pinnacle of the sport.

Cmon man, I know this is an LSU site and all but our two biggest traditional rivals (Ole Miss and Tulane) are hot garbage, they’re so bad typically that we overlook them. Us and Bama and us and Auburn hate each other for sure, but we’re not in the same realm as the Iron Bowl with either of those teams.

We pretty much just hate everybody, that’s our schtick. frick everybody.

It wouldn’t surprise me though if in 20 years, us and aTm was a huge rivalry game, though.
