Line moved 3 pts this morning when someone put 550k in a casino in Vegas on Texas.

I can't for the life of me understand how someone could lay down that much cheese on a quarterback whose toughest opponent thus far has been Mississippi state. He's been there for years and couldn't beat out a middling Ewers.

Several oddsmakers told Yahoo Sports that the line movement wasn't due to sharp action, but overwhelming money on Texas — both on the spread and moneyline.
"It's been one-way traffic on Texas at the moment," said Joey Feazel, head college football trader at Caesars Sportsbook.
"For us, it's mostly been Texas action," Ty Gour, a trader at Fanatics Sportsbook, told Yahoo Sports. 70% of the money is on Texas.
"Sharps appear to be staying away from this spread and moneyline on this one," said Jon Richards, COO of Prime Sport.

Nice article. Normally when the majority zigs…the right side is to zag. Of course I hate Texas, so I am hoping for a OSU win.

If Texas's QB was named Arch Smith, Ohio State would be favored by about a touchdown.

I live in SC where the entire state hates Ohio because of how many of them there are here and how annoying there are. That works for me because I already disliked OSU. Eff 'em, I'll be SEC chanting on my balcony at kickoff.

Arch wasn't going to start over Ewers.
Ever.
No matter how Ewers played.
Ever.
No matter how Ewers played.

I’m excited for this game but I really don’t know who to “pull” for….

Nah...It's not gonna move off a 500k bet at one particular casino.

So…. Take Ohio state?

Wasn’t it Texas -1.5? How is money going in Texas moving it to Texas +1.5? If they are loving Texas giving points they going to orgasm over them getting points. Vegas wants a 50/50 split in a perfect world to take the juice
