Big 10 is the only P4 conference not to require a P4 non-conference opponent

I feel like the talking heads never bring that up when talking about schedules. It is a decided advantage. The Big 10 gave the SEC a lot of shite for not having a 9 game conference schedule, but I rarely see this talked about.

when a sec team gets passed over with 3 losses and big ten teams get in with 2 losses, Sankey should be fired on the spot

B1G has already agreed to 10 P4 games when the playoffs expand. It'll most likely be 24 teams in a year or two. Right now they're waiting to see what Clowngress does.
Several talking heads reported on this, but it was right in the middle of the LSU frenzy and few noticed.

But the SEC plays a directional school in November! (ignoring the previous 5 game stretch of LSU, Texas, Georgia, Florida and Auburn).

Indiana has brutal non conference schedule with the Howard Ducks and others.

It’s easy to schedule better out of conference games when your league has so few good teams Maybe 4 or 5.

Thats how you know the Big 10 is power topping Sankey
They will give you what you want only after you give them what they want, if Sankey had the power it would be the opposite. Sankey already copitulated on one item and got nothing in return, now the big 10 requires more before they give anything

We play Georgia, @ Tennessee, Texas A&M, @ LSU during a six week stretch of our schedule yet everyone is going to be focusing on us playing Chattanooga the week before the Iron Bowl.

You’re effectively shutting down 50%+ of college athletics. So many programs in athletic departments need those games and depend on that money.

How do schools in D2 and below fund their programs? P4 teams don't play them yet they seem to be able to continue chugging along without that paycheck.

Yep. If Sankey had any balls then the BIG would be increasing its schedule difficulty now and the playoffs would not be expanded to more than 16 teams. However, Sankey is a weak bitch who is getting his shite pushed in at the negotiating table.
