Newton had a worse supporting cast though

NFL MVP …burrow won’t ever win that most likely

He has the third best odds on DraftKings and FanDuel to win it this year.

Is this more of an indicator that winning the NC game isn’t a requirement for a QB to excel at the next level.

Josh Allen
Lamar Jackson
Patrick Mahomes
CJ Stroud
Jordan Love
Justin Herbert
Jared Goff
Tua Tagovailoa
Jalen Hurts

Third is not first. Thanks for proving my point though

Like the best career for someone who happen to win one or who had the best season while winning one?

If the former, Tebow.

If the latter, Young, Newton, Tebow, and Burrow are your top 4.

Nod goes to Winston who also beat a better team by the same margin of victory.

Damn, you're a dumb arse. You conveniently left out that the 2010 Auburn team was shittier overall compared to 2013 FSU.

feel like he qualifies. He won the Maxwell Award in 2013, finished runner-up in Heisman Trophy voting that same year, while also leading his team to national championships in 2011 and 2012. In the latter year he led the country in passing efficiency, completing over 66% of his passes and throwing 30 touchdown passes to just 3 interceptions.

Cam Newton. He carried an otherwise probably 6-6 team to an undefeated season. No other player has willed his team to a natty like that.
It was likely an 8-5 team without him, not 6-6.

2009 and 2011 teams both finished 8-5. 2010 went 14-0 with him.

AJ actually is one of the more underrated college QBs in recent years oddly. But obviously not in Burrow or Cam’s class.

I would go with Cam for the record
