Kevin Butler he didn't strike out his Sr year and played at Southern til he flunked out from being on drugs. He went to rehab and is living a pretty normal life. His cousin played for the Bears a couple seasons. He was a helluva football player to.

Guy I grew up with and played ball with was ahead of Mark Grace in Cubs organization before he got beaned in the head. Never was the same after that

In the ealry 90s they had a Big Black dude from Hammond. Think his name was James Hemphill or something to that effect. Dude could rake.

From what I understand they were going to give him a shot but he was arrested a few times right after that and never heard about him since. Really sad how someone could piss away all that talent.
