I didn't play against them because I tore my ACL in the summer, but Henry Melton from Grapevine and Frank Okam from Lake Highlands.

Melton, who wound up playing defensive tackle, was playing running back at about 275 pounds and just ran over everybody.

Okam was in the backfield every play right at the snap

He was on every one of my NBA 2K fantasy draft franchises back when he was in the league

I loved that guy, just the injury bug wouldn't leave him alone

I took Joey Hamilton (ex-Red & Padre) deep as a senior in HS. The only HR he gave up that entire season.

Dude from Mcgill Toolin HS. Hank Lee...

Ran CC and track. Went to S Al and i think ultimately finished top 25 in the World Jr CC championships.

I only saw him at 1 CC race and 2 track meets ( i was in 7th grade) and it was an absolute forgone conclusion who was going to win. Every one else running 930 two miles...Hank was doing...840/50s. Circa '83

Mark Everett was an an eventual medalist in the 800 at world championship. Watch my buddy run against him and...Mark drink a coke before my teammate finish

Wesley Matthews — HS team was loaded. They had a couple other high major players, including Keaton Nankivil (Wisconsin) and Dan Brown (Colorado).
