I don't. Guy was from NOLA. Had changed direction in his life, because I know. Believe what you want.

If you spend all your time caring for guys from New Orleans who are trying to straighten up, you got your hands full.

who said I cared? made a statement that in the last 18 months he was turning things around. Forgive me for not delighting in his death as some seem to be doing

I am sure his teammates and the Bengals will, but I doubt he will be mourned by the entire NFL community like Sean Taylor was.

+1

I didn't know him that good, but I know a lot of his family really well. He had put those childish ways behind him and really was getting it together. Death is always sad, but the timing of this when he was on the right track is really messed up.

She was likely fearing for HER LIFE at the time and if he had been violent before with her then she would have a great case of self defense.

This will most likely be her defense, but if that was the case she should have called 911 and asked for help while it was going on...

Or at least called 911 after the fact to report that he came after her and was now in the middle of the road because she managed to get him out of the truck.

You don't just drive away like that...

I wouldn't be surprised if she lawyered up before he was pronounced.

Another reminder to the living that Character is Destiny .

For better or worse.

RIP Chris Henry, may you walk The Golden Road in peace.

There's no way in hell she didn't know he fell out of the truck. There's no excuse for not, at the very least, calling the police to report the incident.

The only thing in my mind to save her from being a total bitch that should be charged with something is if he was threatening her life, but even then I'd have to wonder back to not calling the police to report it after he fell out. Doesn't make sense.

lot more questions that answers....

1. Wash he beating the snot out of her or about too?

2. Did she even have a cell phone on her?

3. Scared out of your wicketes - and driving off to get away - would you be looking in the bed of pickup..... how many of us have actually been in that situation?

4. did she stop as soon as she could have or knew? who knows..

none of us were there... and if he weren't a football player.. none of you would be blaming the girl

Here's my problem, not with you, but with those who say he may have been threatening her life. There were no weapons found at the scene, no report of weapons being used. How in the frick can you possibly be threatening someone's life if your in the back of a truck and someone else is driving. She was more in control of the situation than he was.

If we had the same info we have, I'd have the same thoughts. That he was a football player means jack shite beyond this getting more media play.

As for 3, if he jumped in the truck I doubt it was just to lay there. He was coming after her, whether it'd be just to stop her or to try and attack her. If suddenly that stops, yeah, you're going to notice, scared out of your wickets or not.

Unless the back was down, my guess is he was reaching over to the driver's side door to try and stop/hit her. She takes a hard turn and he flies off. She keeps going.

If she was being beaten or had been beaten in the past (which would create fear of harm or death) then this and this alone would excuse her from blame.

I don't know how you don't notice that your "attacker" has been expelled from the vehicle you were driving.
