It appears he was in process of giving her an arse whipping, she flees, he stupidly jumps in the back, she is petrified, and she is driving to not get beaten, and he falls out and dies. Sounds to me that a mad guy who jumps in the back of truck was up to no good. I don't fault the woman who probably didn't know he was hurt and too scared to go back. It is sad for everybody.

Here's my problem, not with you, but with those who say he may have been threatening her life. There were no weapons found at the scene, no report of weapons being used. How in the frick can you possibly be threatening someone's life if your in the back of a truck and someone else is driving. She was more in control of the situation than he was.
doesn't take weapons to kill another person or make the threat valid and real....

if he jumped in the truck I doubt it was just to lay there. He was coming after her, whether it'd be just to stop her or to try and attack her.
Has it come out he was trying to attack her or is everyone assuming that? If my girlfriend tried to drive away I would run after her just so we could talk? Who says he was trying to harm her and it IS POSSIBLE she might have tried to harm him

I'm going to hold judgment on this story until I hear more details. Way too much speculation by most of the people in this thread.

But my point is, whether or not he was threatening her, she was in more control of the situation than he was.

Some of you are fricking retarded. This guy had a past that's for sure, but to say that this guy got what was coming for him is absolutely insane. A couple of months ago I watched a segment on ESPN on how this guy was attempting to surround himself with positive people so that he could raise his children in a good environment. I'm not saying the guy was perfect by any means, but who the hell is?

People are assuming that he was attacking her based on the term "domestic dispute" which was used in the initial report. Homicide detectives in North are investigating, so not all the facts have been released.

I don't dispute that, but again, if your driving a truck, and someones in the bed standing up, your in more control than the person in the bed.

The only thing I know for sure is that it was not a smart move to jump in the back of that truck.

I'm sure his fiance and the mother of his children feels horrible.

I think when people hear domestic dispute, they immediately think the man is at fault. This is the case many times, but you cannot assume he is at fault until the facts are in.
