Players who have talent but are headcases get shunned from the league.
It's not a race issue, it's a distraction issue.
Kaep is shunned because he's a distraction where the talent doesn't match.
Vince Young, Johnny manziel, JaMarcus Russell, etc. All talented, all distractions, none received another shot. Even Vince Young has gone on record saying he wish he was more mature, more of a professional, and less of a distraction.

I don't get it. Either give Mccarron a shot or suck as much as you can with Dalton. That roster isn't winning shite.

Why does everyone bring up his TD/INT ratio conveniently ignore his shitload of fumbles?

Just to play Devil's Advocate a little, I think that Dalton can play much better for the rest of the season. They've played two good defenses and the Texans were in a must-win at any cost in week 2 (and only gave up 280 yds in week 1).
I heard an interview with Bernard Pollard last week. He criticized Ray Lewis' comments about Kaep and touched on the racial issues a bit. Then, he was asked which QBs he loved playing against the most during his career. One of the 1st names he mentioned was Kaep and said something like 'If you gave him a certain look, you knew what he was going to do. He was very predictable and it was easy to stop him once you knew his tendencies.'
If you look at Kaep's season by season stats, it's still below that of an average QB (like Dalton). However, if the majority of the players really want Kaep and the team is going nowhere this year, then maybe it's worth giving it a shot.

Who gives the Bengals a better chance to win this year starting right now?
Dalton or Kaep?
Dalton or Kaep?

If they're elite, Dalton. If not, Kaep IMO.
I also think the time it takes to come in and learn a system is overrated by many. Not saying it takes zero time or isn't a factor at all, but I don't think the time factor is as big of a deal as some may it IMO.

You think if he never took a knee or did any of the stuff he's done, he wouldn't have a job still?
Hasn't the most important thing he's done over the past year, that has determined his employment status, been opting out of his contract in San Fransisco? He could still be on their roster right now if he didn't decide to leave on his own, right?

Sign him, please fricking do it. When he goes 0-5 with 2 TDs and 14 INT's we can finally end this fricking parade of bullshite.

Kaepernick:
16 TD
4 INT
59.2 comp%
90.7 rating
Cam Newton:
