They told him he was being traded to HOU for harden last season. HOU didn’t call them back and took the nets offer. Tough to
Blame the guy for not wanting to be there after they tried to trade him since morey got there. He is not wanted there. And he doesn’t want to be there.

He's a dbag, but I don't blame him. Everyone placed all the blame pretty much on him after their loss it was ridiculous.

I mean he deserved a gigantic slice of blame but I don't feel sorry for Philly because they want him gone as much as he wants to be gone. They just want value in return too while he doesn't care about that.

Well, those workout videos of him doing spin moves to the basket at half speed and shooting jumpers with no one defending him should convince a lot of teams he's finally turned the corner.

Don’t trade him, let him sit home until his contract is up. Owners and front office need to stop letting those overpaid spoiled brats dictate shite.

I hope they refuse to trade him and fine him/ not pay him for a material breach of his contract.

Dude has become incredibly unlikeable

This is what they should do especially since he's not really that good

The NBA is run by pussies though so they'll trade him for a 2nd round pick to wherever he wants to go

he used to make moves to the basket but is even hesitant to do that now since he's afraid of free throws

Ben Simmons is a total loser who will never lead a team to a title. Knew this to be true from his LSU days

I just kept waiting for it at LSU and while I saw the talent, he just really never lived up to it. He always filled up the stat sheet here, but I watched the games - every minute of them here...and it really was rarely as good as the numbers may have indicated IMHO.

And no team fractured more than that LSU team that year, they hated each other and the Alpha cat fight between he and Quarterman had much to do with it. Leadership did not appear to be a strength.

I think you see the same things playing out in Philly.

He would fit in with pels
Defense optional
No 3 point shooters

No doubt that will be the chorus and racism and owners keeping the black man down and all that

But if there ever is a time for the owners to rein this silliness back in, this is it.

I think this may be an opportunity that can avoid all of that because there just aren't many places to send him.

All the major teams have basically blown their loads. That's why Dame wasn't moved, either. There is like one possibility and that's the Knicks, and I don't think players really think of that as a premier destination these days.

LAL, LAC, Brooklyn, Miami, are off the table.

I can recall the announcers for one of our games when Ben was here and they talked to our assistant who was his Godfather about Ben's defense - and his quote to them was - he can play defense but he only really does when he feels like the guy he's guarding is worthy.

I was astonished not that this was so - but that his Godfather would say it to the announcers doing the game.

I have never seen the Documentary done when he was here, I was told by 2 folks who saw it and know I love LSU hoops to never watch it, because it would really infuriate me.

Minnesota just fired the GM Rosas, morey disciple.

Looks like he was trying to trade deangelo Russell for Ben and KAT stepped in and got him axed.

aka owner who won't put up with their crap. James Nolan is an idiot but he won't cater to his playerd or let some star be GM by proxy.

That's what makes a premier destination...player control.

Also I was just listening to Zach lowe podcast and this was a little off topic, but they reinforced what we had been thinking all year.

It was said that JH was the “undisputed alpha and leader” on the nets last year.
