Not that I think that highly of Russell but Simmons and KAT seems like a shitty fit together given the problems Simmons and Embiid have had together.

Rosas didn't want Ben, ownership does (incoming ownership).
Rodriguez and Lore want to hire Elton Brand.

The Timberwolves are promoting VP Sachin Gupta as the new head of basketball operations, sources tell me and @JonKrawczynski. Gupta becomes the first person of Indian-origin to run a basketball organization.

Yep
But in reality, it was Jackie freaking Mac who said that, and there was quite literally an awkward silence where Simmons and Lowe just didn't even respond to her saying that. It was clear they were thinking, "WTF is she saying right now" like they do about 4 or 5 times every time she's on a podcast.

Oh I wasn’t sure whose pod it was til I went back and looked on Twitter. I only heard the clip about how she had found out who was the clear team alpha and leader after sitting down with nash for a few hours.

Any truth to the Spurs rumors? That they offered Murray, White, a young player (Vassell or Primo) and a couple of picks.
That is a good trade for both sides. The Sixers have to get a lead guard back. Murray is solid and still young. Simmons gets a fresh start and would be the star of the team.
I'm sure the Sixers want more. But people can't keep saying that the market is bare. Then offers like that get leaked..

I can see the spurs offering that. But Murray is not a morey kinda player for sure. He is horrible on offense. True shooting at 50% is really really poor.

Surely KAT doesn't have that kind of pull, right? I mean I know he's their best player, but he's been there 7 years and hasn't made the playoffs once if I'm correct.
