Just wondering what you SEC guys thought about this guy....as a Texas fan he scares the living shite out of me...The game at Baylor in November could be a big ol' upset directed by him....he is an olympic caliber athlete with a CANNON for an arm.....If Art Briles puts a decent defense together they will definitely go "bowling" this year...

Why did he pick Baylor over any other school?

Track program and promised to play QB. Also followed Briles from Houston.

We've got our own number 10 with some pretty nifty moves of his own.

Art Briles never put together much of a defense at Houston, Unless he hires a good defensive minded assistant I don't see him putting together a good defense for the foreseeable future.

I would assume because of their track program...he came in as a early graduate freshman and won the Big12 300 hurdles straight out of high school.....I don't think he ran track this past spring though.

If Briles had stayed at Houston, Griffin would be backing up Case Keenum. Crazy.

I could see Baylor winning six games this season and going to the Texas Bowl. I hope they pull off a couple of upsets along the way.

I think they could win 8 or 9 games, Griffin is that good.

They've got a pretty decent LB. His name is Pawulak or something like that. I've seen him in the top 10 LBs on some early draft boards.

He is the sole reason why I had a tough time picking between wake forest and baylor in the pick em.

Palewek is the LB. Pronounced Pav-la-check. He's pretty damn good. Baylor has lots of speed due to the track program, but their lines flat out suck. Briles has his work cut out, but I'd love it if they won 6 games.
