Baptists don't drink...

No, they have a a big walking suspension bridge over the Brazos downtown and no one has gotten hurt. I doubt that's a concern. Put up railings.

Am I the only one who thinks those walking paths over the water will prove to be rather dangerous following a long day of drinking?

Why have a 70k stadium that sits half full?

bc recruits are more impressed with 70k than 45k?

Is this on campus? I remember being disappointed that the old stadium wasn't on campus when I visited Baylor

That's some step up shite for Baylor. I think 45K is fine to start with, a full house is better than a half full 70K stadium. I like the old traditional stadiums as much as the next guy but that really looks good.

They could make it bigger but leave the huge tarp over about 10k of the seats. I like the trees and the river as the current stadium is surrounded by gravel and asphalt. It gets pretty hot quick.

From the looks of things, the Brazos river yacht club is probably anxiously awaiting it's finish.

I'm OK with the Euro overhangs. There is little in life more miserable than being near the Brazos river on a 100+ degree day.

1. I don't know what Baylor thinks of its campus, but the drawing of the river with crystal clear water is pretty funny. That river more resembles the Amite River.

2. If you look at the drawing from overheard, the awnings resemble a Giant toilet seat.

Some fans at texags are already referring to the stadium as 'God's Own Toilet'

45k though, really? Do they not draw more than that? I'm just saying, the stadium is tits at any rate.

edit, I see this idea has already been thrown around.

Aggies are already making fun of Baylor? What a shock! Next thing you'll tell me is there is a thread on texags which is negative towards Texas -- and refers to them as tu. That would be equally surprising.

If the football stadium has the same architectual feel as the baseball and softball stadiums, it will look great.
