Orton is the kind of guy you just know is going to gain 80 lbs in retirement and be happy as frick in his simple life on the golf course in Baton Rouge.

Severely jealous of him.

Also, everyone I've talked to that has met him in BR (mostly at UClub) have said he's a genuinely nice, laid back dude.

ETA:

He's really good friends with Kyle Williams now apparently, so thats pretty cool.

I have always liked Orton. He could probably start for half the NFL teams next year, but living on a golf course with some $ in hand and ripping up Freds for free drinks isn't to bad either.

Yeah I wouldn't be suprised if he gets a call in the offseason. I really think he could start for 10+ teams, guess just depends on his motivation now.

Just because he and his wife own property in BR doesn't make them "residents."

Now Kyle Williams is a great guy. Good ole country boy. His daughter will be starting in my son's class next week. If he and Orton are cool, enough for me

When he's not playing football he lives full time in Baton Rouge I believe.

I wish there was a post-season trade period in the NFL.

It would really make the playoffs interesting if all the teams scrambled to grab mercenaries from shitty teams just for the playoffs

I've been told by multiple people that he's like the average out-of-shape cool bro in your friend group that is laid back and always down to go grab a beer...except he's an NFL quarterback
