before you bash me about Burrow, I put him next. After burrow I think Cam’s 2010 season was special.

1. Sanders
2. Burrow
3. Newton

2600+ yards and 37 TDs in 11 games (2850 and 42 TDs if you count his bowl game). What do I win?

Sometimes I make a thread to troll and it sounds funny until I post it and I realize how bad it is

It’s unfortunate man, and I feel sorry, but not everyone can be born with a 100+IQ. You got the short end of the stick and I hope you’re able to prosper despite this.

Pro tip: if you're gonna troll, don't troll with an absurd topic like questioning Barry Sanders and his Heisman campaign. Go with something less obvious.

What's crazy is that Sanders got 47 3rd place votes. But it was Okie State and he had two primetime media market players on his heels that year in Rodney Peete and Troy Aikman.

Here are the Heisman winners that got less 3rd place votes than Sanders...

OJ Simpson
Herchel Walker
Doug Flutie
Charlie Ward
Ricky Williams
Ron Dayne
Reggie Bush (11 3rd place votes, 2nd lowest in history)
Troy Smith
Cam Newton
Jameis Winston
Marcus Mariotta
Baker Mayfield
Joe Burrow (3 3rd place votes) lowest in history for a Heisman winner.

(I think Derrick Henry got the most 3rd place votes for a Heisman winner ever with 144...he got less than 100 more 1st place votes over Christian McCaffrey with basically 1,000 votes cast.)

The real travesty was him not winning unanimously.

Rodney Peete got 70 1st votes with an "amazing" 2812 yards, 18 TD, 12 INT

Aikman finished 3rd with 31 1st votes on a stunning 2771 yards, 24 TDs, 9 Ints

Hell, Major Harris got 27 1st votes with less than 2000 passing yards 13 TDs, 8 INTs and 600 rushing yards

like how the frick did any of them deserve a vote over Sanders?

Hell, Tony Mandarich got 3 1st place votes. A damn lineman

And probably would've won the Heisman if he beat Notre Dame.

He was the preseason Heisman favorite and USC was #1 or #2 most of the year but got demolished by #2 Notre Dame at the end of year.

That's how Heisman's work. See Alabama's Heisman winners. McCaffery almost came close but he played for Stanford and not the #1 or #2 team in the nation.

Best player on best team...usually wins Heismans unless you have an extraordinary year that nobody can deny.

Major Harris was an option wizard who was the driving force behind WVU going undefeated into the bowls that year.

ETA: Harris went the wrong way on an option against Penn State and scored a touchdown anyways. This is an amazing run.

That YPG average will likely never be topped.
