Barry ain’t getting in. And guess what? He doesn’t deserve to be there either.

Selfish in the fact that all Barry wanted to do was hit homers. Crowd the plate while wearing body armor waiting on the inside pitch. Hope he never gets in.

He is 79th in MLB history getting HBP. So much for that theory. He is over 100 HBP behind #1.

They could cancel out all of bonds years after 30 and he still has a strong case.
Now THIS I agree with........

Give me a break. Canseco said he personally injected Pudge Rodriguez with steroids many times and nobody cared. In fact, Pudge got in on the first ballot.
My question for you is why in the world you would believe anything Jose Canseco says.

I think there's a good chance he and Clemens makes it in 2021. They're currently hovering around 60% and their HOF voting percentages has risen by 15% in the last three years. Next year, the backlog of strong HOF candidates will be virtually gone outside of Bonds and Clemens and possibly Schilling. Also, players tend to get a huge bump in HOF votes the closer they get to falling off the ballot and it will be their ninth year on the ballots by then.

Before McGwire's confession in 2010, what proof was there that he used steroids before Canseco's book called him out on it?

Pudge getting in the Hall while Bonds is still out is a fricking joke. Canseco admitted to helping Pudge juice
So much of Pudge's legacy is defense and throwing out base-stealers. He was great with the glove.

8 Gold Gloves, over 500 stolen bases. Yeah, all he did was hit homers.
frick, even if all he did was hit homers, isn't that the point of being hitter? Getting runs for your team?
This is like Buddy Ryan criticizing Cris Carter "All he does is catch touchdowns"

The baseball voters are morons and hypocrites.

The dude was a GREAT baseball player. But just not a Hall of Famer due to cheating. It’s not a hard conversation.
As for the cheaters that ended up in the HOF I’m for kicking them out rather than let more in.

Pudge Rodriguez? GTFO
He was never a prodigious power hitter. How do you take steroids and only hit 30 or more HRs once in 22 seasons. Pudge Rodriguez was for all intents and purpose a career .300 hitter that won 13 Gold Glove awards and you don’t need steroids to do that.

You can believe whatever you want but people says all kind of shite to sell books and there is no way to prove it one way or another. FACT of the matter is that in the 2 seasons that Canseco played with him, Pudge hit a total of 26 HRs in 924 plate appearances. Me thinks Jose is full of fricking shite.

Barry Bonds knew what he was doing. Right or wrong he knew that he was ultimately potentially trading a hall of fame spot for short term glory. Maybe he should be in the hall of fame but you won’t see me pining for him.

8 gold gloves really isn’t out of this world considering Brook Robinson has 16 and that’s not even the most. The majority of stolen bases was with Pittsburgh while in his 20’s.
Anyway it’s looked at, he cheated, which let him play longer to chase the HR record.
He doesn’t DESERVE to be in the HOF. PERIOD
