And now they continue with their hate.

Let them Shaq is always going to hate on centers that threaten his position in the hierarchy

I give credit to Shaq for saying all the right things but his face and body say other things. Nothing but contempt for Joker.

It depends on the type of game being played. Is Joker equal to Shaq or Ewing or Hakeem 1 on 1, not even close. He’s barely 6-10 and is slow. Those guys weren’t just 7 feet tall and super athletic, they were some of the best players ever regardless of size. If it’s a congested game like Prime Shaq era Joker is a great passer and that’s it, he might not even play center. If it’s like it is now with alot of space he’s score a little more but those guys are eating his lunch on both ends. Joker’s super power is how he fits with a team. He’s a good scorer in this era because front lines are so small right now.

Let’s me know you’re 100% ignorant

No offense, but you consistently post some of the stupidest drivel on this entire site. And that long hot take I laughed at is mind numbingly idiotic.

Again you have no idea what you’re talking about.

When someone like you posts about basketball it reads like someone who was introduced to the game a week ago to me. So you can make your insults and say what you like but you’re completely ignorant to the subject.

Jokic is like Manning. He can fit into any era.
Posted on 5/3/25 at 10:05 pm to lsuguy84
Yea he’d be good but he wouldn’t put up the numbers he does now or be better than those guys. Anybody who’s watched all of these players knows that. And it’s not a knock against Joker, he’s maybe my favorite player right now but let’s be real.

That’s a new one.

Does Jokic even develop his game the same way in a different era? I doubt he shoots from the perimeter back in the 90s.
Shaq changed the entire NBA with his dominance. They started letting teams play zone because of Shaq. When teams started playing zone everyone started improving their perimeter shooting. Now the game is shooting a bunch of 3s because Shaq was such a dominant center.
If Shaq played in this era do y’all believe he would have bulked up like he did with the Lakers or stay lean like he was with the Magic?

Well guys like Divac and Sabonis could hit from 3 back then coaches just didn’t allow for as much freedom so I think Jokers perimeter game would’ve been there. I don’t think Shaq bulks up now and at 294-305 he would be outrunning guys as well as physically dominating them today.

Jokic is arvydas sabonis with more handles.
And 2 working knees
And a 3point shot
Did you forget what an old, broken down Sabonis did in that era?

And IQ, be serious that’s basic basketball.
Then why don't more players do it?
