I'm not sure what you expect. Successful athletes aren't wired to accept defeat in the moment.

Nah, it is called not enjoying having my intelligence insulted.

BTW, reading through threads earlier, I saw they actually called a false start on Bama at the goal line. Ended up kicking a FG.

You guys aren't used to that.

I recall seeing the highlight of last year's game where Bama had a blatant false start on a 4th and goal, but were still allowed to score the game-tying TD despite it.

WWE. Yet, if I point this out, I'm the pussy. LOL

Bama Logic. Love it.

don't forget that Clemson punched Bama in the mouth without arguably their BEST defensive lineman

It's Bama...I don't expect them to lose with class...they never lose.

They had him confused all night and he refuses to give their defense any credit.
He doesn't understand being schemed against. It's foreign to him.
The talent advantage shielded him from having to really play quarterback. In addition, he sat for half of the season.

How many full games has he even played? 1? 2?
What do you expect from a rookie?

Multiple times they said that they beat themselves

There's a lot of truth to that. Tua made some bad mistakes early; they didn't run the ball as much as they could have (despite having success); there were some coverage breakdowns; there were some questionable coaching decisions (like the fake FG). There were a lot of self-inflicted wounds. I don't think it takes anything away from Clemson to say that.

It was really bad.

Quinnen Williams and Tua were complete asshats.

Saban wasn't that bad, but his players should be embarrassed.

I mean, 14 points off two mistakes made by Tua

Because he was confused by Clemson's defensive scheme and players.

Results would be the same if Savion didn't get hurt. He got completely schooled and Ross would've had 5 yards of separation.

Alabama has had legitimate problems with false starts in the red zone within the last 4 years.

Those picks weren’t mistakes. They were Clemson baiting him into making that play.

If by questionable, you mean atrocious, sure.

Yeah...let’s use your kicker as a lead blocker on a 4th and Long 40 yd fake FG when the defense knows you can’t make an extra point.

Venables had a masterful gameplan. He switched up looks on every play.

Hopefully, every team Bama plays took notes and tries to mimic some of that. He would switch out of man to zone and vice versa constantly pre-snap. He had dozens of blitz packages that he threw at Tua damn near every play.

It was glorious.

Refused to give Clemson credit and said Clemson wasn't that good and wasn't the best team they've played. Said Clemson didn't do anything great, Bama just made mistakes.
