Bama's after game press conference was classless

Did anyone else think their press conference came off of as being a sore loser and classless? Multiple times they said that they beat themselves and were not giving Clemson credit for the arse whooping they received. They need to quit being sore loser and give credit where credit is due.

Butthurt bitches. You made the mistakes to get beat by 4 TDs?! GTFO.

I chalk it up to them having the media and SEC suck their balls all season long. Hell before this game you had many asking which NFL teams Bama would beat if they played. The kids were told they were playing with the best recruits/teammates going to the best program with the best coach. Failure is likely too foreign of a concept for them to truly grasp.

Well they were moving the ball well, and 2 INTs did not help.

Yeah but Tau saying Clemson didn't do anything to cause this and that he did it to himself is ridiculous. They had him confused all night and he refuses to give their defense any credit.

NICK SABAN: Got to congratulate Clemson. They did a very, very good job. Their quarterback is really good, their skill players are really good.
quote:
Question: Obviously you knew coming in that Trevor Lawrence was not just a freshman at this point in the season anymore, but what did you think actually getting out there and seeing what he did out there on the field tonight?
NICK SABAN: Well, it was no surprise to me. I think he's played extremely well all year long. We knew that their receiving corps was probably the most talented that we've seen as a group all year long. 8, 5, 13, those guys are really, really talented guys
quote:
Question: Nick, to what do you attribute the number of mistakes and the lack of execution?
NICK SABAN: Well, you know, first of all, you've got to give Clemson a little bit of credit. They have a really good team.
But I thought the players prepared well for this game, and I think that they just got out-performed. It wasn't like we just didn't cover a guy. I mean, we tried to cover No. 8. He caught the ball, made a big play.
You know, but Clemson did a really, really good job.
quote:
Question: We've known for some time in college football that true freshmen are very much able to contribute, including of course on your teams. That said, with Trevor Lawrence doing this this year, I'm wondering how you've seen it evolve in college football where even in past decades where – even the most recent recruiting class you bring in can make such a huge difference at the end of the year.
NICK SABAN: Well, Trevor Lawrence is a special talent. I saw him when he was a sophomore, and he was a special player as a sophomore in high school. And he's playing in a good system, in a good scheme.
Trevor has always been a special talent in my mind, and it doesn’t surprise me. He’s got the right stuff as a person, and he’s played phenomenally well for his team this year.
quote:
Question: With that defensive line of yours, were you surprised you weren't able to generate more consistent pressure on Lawrence, and did you feel that he got more comfortable as the game went on because of that?
NICK SABAN: Well, I thought that if we were going to have an opportunity, the best way to defend them is to rush four guys and play different kinds of coverages, and when we rushed four guys, we didn't get a lot of pressure. Their offensive line did a good job. He was very comfortable in the pocket, had time to throw, and we didn't get him covered very well in the back end at times. A combination of those things I think really made it more difficult for us because one of the things that they do extremely well with the players that they have, a mismatch, 8 and 5 outside is when you play middle-of-the-field coverage and you try to pressure, they've been very successful against that all year long, and Trevor Lawrence is very good at throwing the fade ball, back shoulders, whatever it is. And their two guys are really, really good at making plays on the 50/50 balls, which we knew would be a big part of what we needed to do well in this game, and I think maybe we made one play on a 50/50 ball and got one other pass interference.

I was at the gym this morning on the bike and one of the TVs had ESPN on. TV was muted but the closed captioning was on.
I don't know what show it was, but I glanced over when it started. If you landed here from another planet and just watched that show, you would have thought Bama won last night.
I admit, I didn't watch the game. Bama games are too WWE for me. Watching these "highlights" the score went from 7-7, to 16-14 (showed Bama's drive to get a FG to go up), then the next Clemson highlight came when it was 37-16. Clemson reeled off 28 straight, and this show only showed 2 of their offensive TDs.
Point in all this? I don't blame Bama's kids for being like that. They are treated all year long like gods on and off the field. Hit a QB late? No problem. You play for Bama. Targeting? Nope. You play for the best team ever!
Remember, the majority of these kids didn't win their conference last year and were rewarded for it. They aren't used to this.

I mean, 14 points off two mistakes made by Tua and another 7 off a corner getting injured while jamming, leaving the receiver wide open for a TD.
I can understand why they would say that.

Classless is a little atrong, but they were definitely lacking any humility. Players couldn't give Clemson any credit.

Saban was fine.
The players, not so much.

It reminded me of the reaction USC had after Texas beat them in 2005. Similarly, that USC team was regarded as one of the best ever before they even played in the Rose Bowl.

Both of those interceptions were forced. They fooled Tua on the coverage.
In what area of the game can you honestly say Alabama beat Clemson?
OL vs DL nope
DL vs OL nope
LBs vs RBs nope
CBs vs WR hell no
WRs vs CBs nope
QB play? nope
Special Teams? nope
Initial gameplan? nope
Halftime adjustments? nope

Especially the second one, where I don't think Tua even looked at the coverage at all, and just assumed they would be in man.

Who gives a shite what he thinks about a football game?
Alabama has some classy and intelligent players.
They also have some retards and assholes.
Just like every other team in the country.
