NFL balls have chips in them. They always collect them and exchange the balls that want to be collected

This is completely wrong...
There job is to run the game balls for the game. There is a limited number of game balls approved by the game refs. Sometime a ball boy will tamper (deflate gate), because TB bribed them, and they'll lose their job. But they are there to keep feeding the refs those game balls. Not to give the players whatever they want.

The situation was stupid all around. Give the player the ball, it's the courteous thing to do and allowed by the NFL, and it's in the Jag's own home stadium.
Ball boy is the one in the wrong, but people just want to hate on athletes. I am not an athlete defender at all, but anyone defending the ball boy in this is ridiculous.

And there's a greater than zero chance that this guy is on the spectrum (considering he's an adult ball boy) and in his mind he literally has to give it to the person that he's supposed to.

The player who intercepted the pass tossed the ball away in celebration. He wasn't concerned about the ball. A team mate comes over and immediately pushes the ball boy to get the ball back.
How about nicely asking, "hey, that's my team mates first interception, can we have the ball for him to keep?"
And the ball boy's job is not to give all of the game balls away. Yes, the players do get to keep some of the balls, but a little common courtesy would go a long way. Not just walking over and attempting to snatch a ball out of the ball boy's hands.

frick that ball boy. Little midget Karen. “You can’t touch me! He can’t touch me!” He might as well started yelling “I can’t breathe.” It was Hunter’s first career interception. Has something similar happened before? We don’t know because before recently every little interaction wasn’t on video.
I would have liked to have seen Hunter just hold on to the ball, and it would have been a non-issue. He couldn’t, however, turn down the opportunity to do an extended, jackass celebration that has to accompany practically every play these days.

Another thing to consider, Pats are on offense so that's one of their balls. The equipment guys put a lot of work into getting those game balls just how their qb likes them. So I don't think they give them up easily. Ball boy is probably an equipment manager.

The player wasn’t aggressive at all. The ball guy was the aggressor and the jerk. The player remained very well behaved and acted in a completely normal manner. He was clearly confused and dumbfounded more than anything as to why the ball guy was being a complete and total ignorant jackass. The ball guy should be mocked and shamed.
