To me, it's obvious the Big Ten is going to add another 2-4 schools from the Pac 12. If Arizona, Arizona State, Utah and Colorado were smart they should jump to the Big 12

Tell me how that is going to change the demographical advantage? Again, the south has a demographical advantage. All the money in tehe world isn't going to change that. In fact, more black people from the Midwest are moving to the south you idiot

You sound angry friend.

If you don't think $7B over 7 years for a program would increase their recruiting, I don't know what to tell yah

When they start beating the SEC to get to Omaha (in an important but still not that much money involved sport), I’ll take notice

Aside from the crazy hypothetical I was previously discussing,

Baseball is an entirely different animal. There's no money in it for northern teams. And starting the first several months in the winter is insurmountable.

When's the SEC gonna have an NCAA hockey team?

It's 71 million a year per team. That is great but not world shattering and the SEC is not that far behind that per team.

The big 10 isn’t worried about fricking Omaha and hell with UCLA and USC. They’ll probably get there a bit more

Big 10 basketball is about to be absolutely stacked. Between this and NIL college basketball could be the biggest beneficiary of all this

Ohio State bball insiders are worried about the exposure with the new TV deal. We'll see.

There weren't that many B1G games on ESPN anyway.

I could see that, but they’ve done a better job at adding good basketball programs than good football ones. I think fox will figure out how to air as much as possible.

I’m actually be optimistic about CBB, the money coming in could keep more players away from the G league and Euro basketball. We know the universities aren’t going give it to the players, they’re going build a bunch of new facilities.

Black people will follow money same as white people. It's not only about "demographics". It's about the money. I think the SEC will be fine, but demographics are not destiny.

Plus $20,000,000 a year from the BTN. That’s $91 million a year.

hmmm you may be right. Here are the current 24/7 team recruiting rankings:

Alabama
Texas
ND
Ohio State
UGA
LSU
Oklahoma
Clemson
Miami
Florida
Tennessee
Ped State

Went to 12 to get another Big 10 team in there

With NIL $ the game will be changing quickly

Just put the BTN money into each school's collective.

the B1G will be able to compete with anybody for talent.

They may have the money to compete for talent, but the tens of thousands of alumni of those colleges have gotten out of the habit of Saturday football, and if they plan to compete for bigger dollars, they are going to have to grow a hell of a larger viewership.
A lot of those colleges are in areas that on Saturday nights don't even have sports on the evening newscasts. Not that anyone watches TV or reads newspapers any more.
