Almost anyone that wants weed can get it as of now. Federally banned or not.
For sure, but the thinking is that it would be better if when you went to the doctor for pain or injury rehab, they could try you on cannabis products rather than opioids.
So access isn't the issue. It's getting it widely accepted medically to the point where doctors see it as a viable treatment plan.

How does a major sports team not see that?

I have UC and my doctors won t prescribe me shite for my pain.
I told them flatly that this ridiculous war on drugs and OPIODS mainly served by doctors is going to force those with extreme chronic pain to look elsewhere and try harder stuff with blood on their hands for pushing folks away.
yeah all these new "feel good" regs are just hurting people who have legit pain and aren't addicted, possibly leading them to bad avenues for their pain

Let us know when you go pro in something other than being a shitty TD poster.

When I had a massive cancer tumor wrapped around my lumbar spinal area, I had to take 3 80mg OxyContin daily and the pain still got so unbearable at times that my oncologist prescribed fentanyl to me. I put that patch on for one 24 hour cycle and I threw it away the next day. It was a bad experience. Bad enough that I decided to suffer through the pain with just OxyContin taking some of the edge off. I stayed on OxyContin for a year after my stem cell transplant but self weened myself down to 1 pill a day a month after the transplant. Four months later I just quit cold turkey with a whole bottle just re-filled(30 pills.) I was a little scared about how my body might react but fortunately I had no side effects or cravings. I had to see if it was mental thing by that time and did I really need it anymore or if I could manage through the slight pains of my recovery period without it. I am glad I didn’t have trouble quitting. I can’t imagine being enslaved to that stuff.

Just to clarify, I wasn't referring to someone like yourself who has a medical need. Hopefully you have fully recovered.

you do know a lot of people have legitimate medical needs but end up addicted, right?

Hope you don't either.

Sure, but frick you. If a dude with spine cancer needs some pain meds, then shite happens if he gets addicted. I can't pass judgement on him.

They already know. That’s why they didn’t want to toxicology report released until some time had passed and it would die down a bit
I doubt he was an addict tho. They get tested too often for that

Opioids don't stay in your system that long.

Yeah but if he’s an addict, he’s doing more than once every couple weeks

He had Tommy John just a couple of seasons ago and probably when he became prescribed the pain medicine

True. Are they tested for opioids though or just PEDs?

Any drugs of abuse is the way it reads
I mean, I guess it’s possible he was an addict and incredibly lucky on when he got tested
