The Falcons schedule coming up will cause damage to that team.

One true home game coming up for a while being that one is in England. They still have to play @NO @CAR @BAL and @GB. They also play the Cardinals who always give them fits.

You seem unable to comprehend that the only merit beating divisional opponents has is in tie breakers. The Panthers could go 6-0 in the division and still miss the playoffs if they lose to everyone else.

Clearly I don't believe Carolina will lose to everyone else? Did you miss the part where I stated the NFC South would be similar to the NFC East this year meaning the teams will look middling to mediocre with the Champion having a 9/10 win season heading into the playoffs.

I would like a look inside the mind of a dillusional person. What in your mind makes you think that the Panthers have the best team in the NFC South? Is it your under-achieving, larger than life-ego ridden QB who is your golden ticket to being the best NFC South team? Maybe it's your retirement home crop of WR's, or the revolving door of injury plagued RBs. I mean, between all that I just don't see how you guys aren't putting up 30+ points a game. The ONLY reason Carolina is in games is because of that defense which sadly seems that teams have figured out. Enjoy 3rd place in the division cupcake.

That's my biggest worry. Only one home game in the next seven weeks will really show how good this team is, but the good thing is that the schedule isnt too tough.

At Minnesota w/o AP is very winnable. At NY Giants during the first week of October helps us out big time. We play our one home game against Chicago, which should be high scoring, but definitely tough. At Baltimore will be very hard. Versus Detroit in London is unpredictable. At Tampa, should be a cakewalk. Finally, at Carolina. Very tough.

I see either 4-3 or 3-4. Split the first two road games. 2-1 or 1-2 in the pre bye stretch, and 1-1 on the road divisional games.

6-4 would put is squarely in the division hunt with 4 of our last 6 games at home, especially with Carolina's very tough stretch in the next two months, and New Orleans definitely has some challenging games in that stretch, and they already are a game(two with tiebreaker to ATL) back.

10-6 could very easily win the division. My money would still be on New Orleans, but after seeing Cincinnati have another dominant performance, I dont hate the Falcons chances as much as I did a week ago.

Based upon the fact that you appear to be a Georgia/Falcons/Braves(?) fan I'm sure you have plenty of insight into the dillusions of sports fans?

I mean I'm sure this year is the year Mark Richt pulls it together and doesn't shite the bed with the season on the line. Also, speaking of injuries, I'm sure there'll be at least 1 game in which both Julio Jones and Roddy White will play from start to finish without being injured? Right? And the Braves, well no one really cares about baseball but maybe this will be the year that they defy the curse that is Georgia Sports and maybe make to the World Series?

Why you gotta bring the Braves and Georgia into it? Just because Auburn had 1 year with a thug QB and now that thug QB is mediocre on your new favorite NFL team doesn't mean you have to insult us.

The Falcons actually have a much more favorable schedule than the Saints. From the packers to the steelers, the Saints are playing potential playoff teams every week. And then Carolina, Chicago, and Atlanta right after.
Y'all got some favorable games at home, but I do not see y'all having an undefeated home record this year.

Our away schedule sucks, but two of those away games this year are Giants and Vikings, which help. If we only drop 1 home game and win those 2 and Tampa away, we would be looking good.

giants always get better as the year progresses, best to play them in the first few weeks...seems like they found their offensive mojo against a really good defense last week

how is that a bonus for the falcons? I do think the falcons beat them because their defense is stupendously shitty, but I think it's a close one and perhaps a shootout
