Nice job dodging your shitty team assessment. It's cute that you are trying to shine a negative light on my other favorite teams instead of discussing the major flaws within your precious Panthers. You started the thread talking your team up, but have no statistical evidence of this year to back it up. You've been pushed into a corner and now are cowering because there is nothing you can do or say to stand up for your team. Congratulations on 3rd place within the division.

Usually I'd try to defend the Saints but I still have no idea what to think. Gotta win @ Dallas this weekend or it could get ugly
But to say that the panthers are head and shoulders the best team and will no doubt win the division is

Not expecting them to be world beaters but 9-10 games will win the division

How can you be confident after what you saw last night?

Bye isn't a bonus...just saying we play them in 2 weeks rather than week 12 or so

Well, expect DeMarco Murray to fumble the ball on their first possession. He has done it every other game. Actually, I think he has done it on his first carry every time.

Fluke rookie season that was really carried by Steve Smith's play and a couple (one for sure) undeserved probowls

All things considered (line, run game, unknown WRs) Cam Newton had a really good game. 24/35, 250 yds, TD, 0 INTs. Alas …
Cam has to continue to play his game. The offensive line has to do better with protection and they need to trawl around for some running backs. Also, the secondary has to contain explosive plays. Both offense and defense need to cut down on stupid penalties.

Beacause I havent seen anything out of the Saints or Falcons that would leave me to believe they're better than Carolina even after last night.
Biggest factor will be defense. Neither the Saints nor the Falcons have a defense on par with Pittsburgh.

Nor the running game

Are people really bringing up divisional tiebreakers when the three teams still have five of six games left between each other. The one game of the six was a damn home win at that.
All three teams basically control their destiny at this point.

has it occurred to you the panthers offense isn't very good?
the steelers were ripped in week 1 and mediocre in week 2...cam is going to make a lot of defenses look good this year.

6/10 troll, but will still get a good response on the MSB

And funnily enough in the midst of this discussion the Braves fire their manager.

But the Steelers don't have the offense that the Saints or the Falcons have. And last night, that secondary got exposed.
But Carolina lost at home. Saints and Falcons lost on the road, and the Falcons loss was to a strong Bengals team who just embarrassed another team even more than us.
Not saying that makes any team better at this point, but Panthers are far from having the division on lock.

What could hurt is that game in London. That's such a tough call, and you lose a home game. Lions @ Atlanta, I take Atlanta easily. But this will be weird.
I see y'all finishing around 10-6, being unbiased here. Too talented of a roster not to make a playoff push, but a schedule that will potentially come back to hurt.
As far as the Saints schedule; we have tough games. However, majority of the tough games are @ home. If we can win in Dallas this week, then it's Tampa @ home before the bye with them sitting at 3-2. Having GB at home along with the Bengals is huge. They might not go undefeated at home, but I'd say 6-2 at worst is a good guess. I think they'll also be around 10-6 or 11-5. The NFC South will be close as frick, and will likely come down to the last week.

Damn Carolina's schedule is tough. I could see 7-8 more losses on that one.
I'm not confident in the Saints so I'm not going to say they win it, but I have never been and will never be a Carolina/Cam believer.
