Guess I don't need to watch any of the playoffs since I know the NFL has selected the bills and KC to play in the AFCCG.
The Bengal's got hosed the worst out of all this...

Yep, this would be dump. Why?
you see... you remember that game where Damar Hamlin nearly died?
yeah... Buffalo wins that game... they're the #1 seed in the AFC playoffs and hosting that game (BUF beat KC H2H this year)
but since that game was canceled... Kansas City got the #1 seed due to win percentage (14-3, .824 to 13-3, .813)
so in order to not give KC an advantage (technically 2nd advantage since KC gets a WC round bye & BUF doesn't) due to circumstances beyond anyone's control

Buffalo wasn't going to win that game. Bengals get fricked in all of this, honestly.

which would've changed things a little bit as well but not much... Cincy & Buffalo would just flip spots
Cincinnati would then get a Dolphins team this week that won't have Tua (and I think may be down to the 3rd string QB?)
while Buffalo would get a Ravens team that won't have Lamar (or is it the Ravens I'm thinking of who's down to the 3rd string QB?)
but it will be big when Cincinnati has to travel to Buffalo for the Divisional Round instead of Buffalo going to Cincinnati
that's gonna be an awkward Divisional Round game won't it... b/c the Buffalo fans will actually kinda like the Bengals for everything that happened surrounding the Hamlin situation

Proof? Source?
The Bills have been down by 4 or more points 6 minutes in the 1st quarter 5 different times this season. They are 5-0 in those games.

I don't like the site. They are dead set on neutral site.
Play it in Chicago, outside in the weather, like it would be in either Buffalo or KC. NFL is soft.

If this actually transpires, wonder how much tix will be. I would love to see this game.

If this happens I wonder who gets the ticket revenue? Both the Chiefs and Bills fanbase travels well.

Agreed. It should be played at the #1 Seed's home stadium per the rulebook

There are still probably a lot of direct flights into Atlanta from both areas.
That's probably why they went with ATL after Indy declined.
I think it would've been cool if they went truly neutral and went to a non NFL city like St Louis, San Antonio, or even San Diego. Throw the local fans a bone and let them get a game in.

This doesn’t benefit either fanbase. So what happens when we have bad winter weather for this afc championship weekend? You’ll have both fanbases highly incentivized to travel to ATL even if there are dangerous conitions to do so.

the wounds in the 2 bolded cities are still way too fresh for the NFL to bring this game to them

The game could have been in Chicago, in the elements like it would have been played.
The NFL likes coin flipping too. If the Bills defeat the Dolphins, directly after the game the NFL could have brought Allen and Mahomes to the 50 yard line and flipped for home field.
