The fact that Cervellis is getting reps at 1B tonight tells me that Riley is off the postseason roster, which I guess we already knew.
I'm guessing Snit wants to give Cervelli reps though incase we reach a real doomsday scenario and he would be the emergency first basemen. Else, it makes no sense to be playing Cervelli at 1B tonight with Riley DHing.

Brewers have a much more dangerous lineup and they have Josh Hader in the pen. That Woodruff dude has owned us this year as well.
Cards lineup is meh but their rotation is much better and their bullpen is very good overall.
