I don’t want to hear any more bullshite about how Mookie is the MVP. Ronald has now passed him in homers and only trails him by 2 in the RBI category. Lest we forget, leads Betts by 25 points or so in BA, and has him by several points in OPS.

Ronald has pulled away, IMO. It started with that 4 game series in LA.

So it would be cool to celebrate the award during the season in front of fans. That's all

I think it’s pretty understandable to be completely concerned with our pitching going into October.

A few of us were told yesterday that being concerned about the pitching is dumb because of how awesome the first 150 games have gone.

Bowman:

Morton's finger ailment isn't a blister. He felt something in his index finger while throwing a curveball. The X-ray was negative. He'll have a MRI tomorrow.

That doesn’t sound great.

At least the xray was negative I guess

Wright’s next start may be a lot more important now though

Gaudin is a big fan of the Hand / Johnson jokes

“Hand to Johnson” tonight

A couple games ago it was something like “Hand and Johnson in the bullpen, that’s a good duo”

“Braves' Ronald Acuña becomes 5th player ever with 40-40 season”
What a dumb headline by ESPN. How about the first with 40-60?

Gaudin earlier this season talking about the bigger bases:

quote:

Those bases, three inches bigger this year, drawing the ire and envy of men everywhere.

He quietly drops some awesome one liners in almost every broadcast.

The MLB commish pulled the ASG from Atlanta in election year that hurt the very people they were pretending to grandstand for at the behest of Disney. You think they have actually ever given a frick about Atlanta sports in a positive light?

So tomorrow’s game already postponed. Day/night DH Sunday.

I'd be a little surprised if they can play Sunday, regardless of what they've already announced. A Monday doubleheader seems more likely.

Guardians were 1 out away from a 7-6 win over the Orioles with nobody on base… Baltimore still ended up scoring 2 runs to take a 8-7 lead heading to the bottom 9th
