When I saw the lineup come out for this game I just shook my head. Sitting a 20 year old after a day off in an important doubleheader is a head scratcher. Would've at least liked to get the first one since splitting today means beating Scherzer, but oh well. Fried looked really good and then he gets hit in the fricking back lol.
I know it's just 2 games, but I'm not impressed with Allard's stuff. Barely any swings and misses so it pretty much looks like he's throwing BP.

Went to the game today. When the ball hit off of Fried, that was one of the loudest thuds I have heard in person. Frustrating to see the bullpen suck arse. Also, I sat right behind the National's on deck circle and Harper has a weird obsession of sniffing his bat.

He also left Allard and Carle in the game when is it clear they couldn’t get outs. We should be treating this series like the playoffs and not let the Nats back in the playoff race.
