not sure if you don't just let Allard stay out there and take his lumps with a 1st game of a doubleheader.
No way, .5 games outta first, every game is important right now. Plus, like someone said, we've got some other young arms to try out too.

You better be Anibal or prime Bartolo precise if you’re coming with this garbage.

We'll see, just hate to go through the bullpen this early in the series.

What a disaster today has been so far. Fried looked so much better than Allard. The only bright note is that it may be Touki Time soon.

Fried looked like he had it rolling early. That was really unfortunate

Did they confirm that Fried left because of the blister? Or was it taking the line drive to the torso? This guy can't catch a break.

There’s a reason Allard was plummeting down every prospect list.
Wright, Touki, Soroka, Gohara, Anderson, Wentz, Wilson, Muller all ahead of him for me plus the six big league guys.
A 6’0 lefty who doesn’t strike people out in the minors and has gone from 96 as an 18 y/o to 90 as a 20 y/o is big trouble.

I'd guess this one. 104 right off the kidneys.

Braves are saying left groin strain for Fried which is weird

Changing pictures might be what the Braves needed. Not sure why they did that. Kid was cruising.

Someone explain why the hell Kevin Gausman pinch hit earlier?
I'm checking the box score just now and noticed that...

Fried (SP) took a line drive off the kidney and hadda come out. Gausman PH to not burn a bat off the bench in the 2nd inning.

Interesting.. Don't see that happen very often.

I got an idea Carle maybe you shouldn't walk the 8-9 hitters with no outs

Just a shitty game all the way around. Beating Scherzer would salvage the day but certainly not the position you want to put yourself in. This probably wasn't the game to play your B lineup in.

Even more interesting is that he was the first baserunner for the Braves today
