If this result holds we'll have a +200 run differential for the season.

I’m assuming that’s mlb best because that’s an insane number

Braves are putting up numbers rarely seen.

After the 21-3 win over the Mets we took the overall lead from the Rangers and entered today at +193.

For the record, Rangers entered today at +181 and are currently up 5-0 on LAA.

Best run differential by 10+ if it’s +200.

Was listening to a podcast a week or so ago and they were discussing the possibility of Lopez playing some SS down the stretch if he hits.

Won’t happen if Arcia is OPSing .780+ but if he struggles at some point I wonder if we could see more Lopez against righties.

Lopez is so much better than Arcia defensively it could be an option.

Can Lopez play corner outfield? I may be wrong but I thought I saw somewhere when we got him he was a Culbertson type who plays most positions

Don't know if it's the record but the Dodgers had some ridiculous number over 300 last season.

I believe Lopez has played all infield positions and some outfield.

I doubt we hit 300 are pitching injuries and at times bullpen issues won’t allow it. There’s what like 60 games left? I’m just going off top of my head I mean we would need like 3.3 avg victory not even favoring in loss margins

If he can play LF that would be very pleasant because our LF defense is…not good to put it the best way imaginable

Nicky got an OF assist in July. His first game in the outfield.
He IS the most interesting man in the world.

He can play all infield and outfield positions and play them well outside of CF.

Yeah he needs to be seeing time in LF then when Ozzie is good way more than Arcia at short imho

Play Eddie in left and use Pillar as a defensive replacement late in games.

So bench an all star short stop who has hit all year and been clutch on offense? I’d rather platoon slash 75\25 LF between Nicky and Eddy with Ozuna DH

All of this is of course jn a bubble where Arcia doesn’t cliff dive

The only way Lopez becomes an actual starting LF for us is if Pillar and Eddie get hurt or he goes on a Matt Adams run at the plate.

He’s better defensively that Eddy no? I mean I’m going strictly off this thread here I have no idea. They could platoon them and intermix Nicky to get guys rest other areas down the stretch. Either way just replacing Arcia with him would be a bad idea imo.

Much happier with that triple than Harris getting hurt banging into the wall.

But Eddie is a better bat and that is infinitely more important for LF... especially with Harris in CF.
