Nice. I love this. Best backup catcher in the league by a mile and I wouldn't be shocked if he ultimately ends up managing the team.

Very glad to see this and that we didn’t decline his 24 option and let him go be a starter somewhere else.

I thought AA was crazy for putting two speed-first guys in the middle of the order, but it appears to be paying off.

He's the next in line obviously, but Walt is 60 in November so if it's gonna happen it'll need to be in the next couple of years.
I can see your scenario w/Walt as manager and TDA as bench coach so no he can apprentice under Walt for a few years.
