Braves go with a HS SS over Aloy.

Btw, we currently have the 29th ranked farm system…

Again, why are we trusting AA?

I think most fans, except the few with their heads still in the sand, no longer blindly trust AA.

The thing I never understood with the AA glazing was the complete inability by the fanboys to acknowledge that he got lucky with the WS. It doesn't discount winning it at all, but the performances we got from players who hadn't done it before and haven't done it since was incomprehensible.

I don’t know… it seemed like a good strategy to lose a 1st ballot hall of fame 1B and the best left handed starting pitcher statistically in MLB to free agency, trade two Allstars catchers for a bum, not resign a SINGLE key member from your core group, never replace your starting SS with even an average player, the list goes on and on

This dude completely destroyed this young core we had. I didn’t even mention the moves that he didn’t even try to make to put them over the top when the core was still together. Just a shame. And now we are dealing with the results. And it sucks. Fire this motherfricker already

And from a teambuilding perspective the entire logic of signing these young guys so early was so they would be values and you could improve the roster elsewhere (or just spend money to keep a franchise cornerstone).

AA mostly lost me when he let Fried walk. I can understand Dansby. I can understand Freddie. I can even understand trading Wild Bill. But letting a pitcher of Fried’s caliber walk was pure hubris that can’t be defended.

ETA: I think it was just proof of what we’ve suspected. AA will never resign a player who is in his prime to a current-market deal. He will always underpay, and hope he can get lucky for cheap. Dana Brown is proving to have been the man deserving credit for any of our success.
