That's a good series win. Texas is a solid team and getting a win when Strider doesn't have his best stuff is really nice. Enjoy that off day tomorrow.
That was nice to see from Iglesias too.

Mets pulled one out of their asses tonight, so this one was much needed.

First series we’ve won in Arlington since 2003
eta: Ronald Acuña Jr is the best player in baseball and it’s not particularly close.

Great win. Clutch hitting and our closer closed like a closer.
Despite all the guys on the roster that suck arse this team is actually pretty good.

That's the kind of game that can pick a team up off the mat. Hopefully that doesn't happen for the Mets.

Nah.
The Muts are a fundamentally flawed team.

Very deceiving stat. How often have we played in Arlington?
Can’t recall the last time we played in Houston in the regular season.

In a story completely out of left field, George W. Bush signed a bottle of champagne for Ozuna to celebrate 10 years of MLB service time.

Asked about the bottles, Ozuna turns around and displays them. Then he grabs the champagne and spins it around to its back side, opposite the label.
“Look, the president also signed this,” Ozuna says.
And sure enough, there it is: The signature of former President George W. Bush, the 43rd president of the United States who once owned a stake in the Rangers.
On Tuesday, two balloons – a “1" and a “0,” signifying 10 years of service time – sat next to Ozuna’s locker. The gifts were there, too. Prior to the game, the Braves – and, apparently, Bush – celebrated Ozuna’s accomplishment.
Minutes before the Braves left the clubhouse to stretch, Kevin Pillar spoke in front of the team and congratulated Ozuna. And sometime during the day, Bush spent a couple minutes with the players and signed Ozuna’s bottle of champagne.

My point is that he is woefully playing below his contract.
He is nowhere close to underperforming his contract. Even last year he was worth 24.9 mil according to Fangraphs value with his FWAR, so he over performed his contract.
I get that he's not performing how we want, and you'd rather we had signed Freddie (I do too). But while I'm concerned with his BA and strikeout rate, and with his contract long term, there is no reason for hyperbole.
Now Riley on the other hand, that sub .240 BA and .730ish OPS since he signed his contract extension, now that is woefully underperforming a contract. Pretty sure Riley has either been negative WAR or right at it since he signed the contract.
Anyway, very nice series win on the road. Hopefully we keep the momentum going on our long home stand.
