I feel like the splits would back this up. It’s comical.

Okay that’s enough of the pitcher’s duels. Time for Acuna, Riley, and Olson to get their head’s out of their asses and get this offense back on track.

Ozuna, Arcia and Harris had been kinda covering their shortcomings, but these last three games they’ve struggled a bit, and now we can’t score runs

Career 2.55 in 8th inning, 4.41 ERA in the 9th…

Acunia is getting beat by fastballs cock high the entire month of April. Tonight, Miller no hit us for almost 7 innings with 94-95 MPH fastballs.....our hitters are basically getting beat with fastballs. Right now, Acunia and Olson are almost automatic outs and many times strikeouts. That shite has got to stop and damn quick

Minter has a 2.24 FIP in low leverage, 2.59 FIP in medium leverage, and 3.81 FIP in high leverage over his career (by Fangraphs), so he does seem to struggle a bit when the heat is on. He has been quite money in the playoffs, however (2.88 ERA/2.54 FIP). Relievers can just be frustrating. He's been great as a Brave outside of 2019.

None of our guys outside of Ozuna can consistently hit fastballs and teams have seemingly picked up on that. Bryce Miller tonight was just challenging everyone with FBs and we couldn't do dick with it. Not sure what's going on. The ball is deader but we are also in a funk.

Riley has at least hit the ball hard lately. Just bad balls in play luck. Not sure what the frick Ronald and Olson are trying to do. They've been staring at or fouling off a lot of hittable fastballs.

Our starting pitching has also quietly been excellent. Nice to see Fried back on track the last couple of starts.

When Riley makes contact, the ball is jumping off the bat. He still is striking out waaaay too much for my liking.

Ronnie and Olson seem all kinds of fricked up in the head right now.

I really hope Olson isn't staying in the lineup because of this BS iron man streak that he's on. He and Ronnie could each use a day off.

Everyone has seemed to level up since Strider went down, which is awesome to watch. I'm just not sure how sustainable it is by the time the dog days of summer get here, considering we have a 40 year old, a 36-year old coming off a 5-year bout of chronic injuries, a converted reliever who already has reports surfacing about managing his innings and a 5th spot in the rotation that has a carousel of some talent, but a lot of unproven guys.
