Think I'd rather the Cardinals.
IDK, I think I would rather just face Philly.
I don't want to see a team with Arenado and Goldy in the postseason.
I feel like when the Braves get in one of those "strikeout modes" it doesn't even really matter who is pitching we are just going to struggle, and when we are hitting it also doesn't really matter who the pitcher is because we blast them

Congrats to the Braves Tightest finish with that many wins by both teams that I can remember.
Giants 107 wins, Dodgers 106 wins all the way back in 2021. Came down to last day.

You could make an argument for '93 over '96 but the '98 numbers were pretty sick especially starting pitching...one of the best in MLB history. '98 Braves
I've still got a Kevin Millwood hat giveaway from that year

does anyone want to post their bookmarks of irrational fandom from the season or should we wait? Maybe we can post without the username so we dont hurt any feelings.

Take a look at the Mets September schedule, it has more cupcakes than a big 10 football squad. Braves aren’t winning the division this year

Not the same Mets team as a week ago, for sure.
I still don't think their offense plays in a 7 game series (not sure ours does either FWIW), but they just have a better roster than us right now.

This team can't have nice things. The lineup has so many black holes in it that this already feels over.

162 games of basically sitting and watching. Dude has to keep himself entertained. I love it.

Heredia taking on the Panda role has been amazing.

I called it just about before anybody. Not long after the Mets won their home series vs the Braves, I predicted that the Braves would win the NL East.
You can always count on the Braves to beat the Mets ESPECIALLTY in ATL. The Mets org still hasn't gotten over the deficiencies inherited from the Fred Wilpon Ownership
Era. It will be at least a few years before the Mets will be able to take the NL East - it might be longer than a few years.
Mets fans should be happy to be in the Post Season.

I wasn't the only person ITT who thought that and admitted I was wrong a few minutes later.
So you can take that comment and SIUYA.

Nah, the 96 team is regarded as the best of those 90s Braves teams.
