Nothing to see here. According to Ump scorecard Braves’ opponents had only been given run advantages in 10 of 11 postseason games going into last night (Braves did have the advantage in 1 of the 4 games against Milwaukee).

There's no way Rob Manfred would ever screw over the Braves (again) on purpose.
Man I hope this team can overcome it and make that guy have to hand them the trophy. Maybe he'd quit his job just to avoid it. That would be even better than winning the World Series, itself.

Great analysis Hot Carl and I completely agree.
I will add - this Game 3 with Ian Anderson is huge. We absolutely NEED this game tomorrow night.
I don't see how we win a pair of back-to-back bullpen games...we will need Kyle Wright or Tucker Davidson to do something extraordinary, which is to cover 3, 4 or maybe 5 innings in one of these games and give us a chance to win.
Max needs to go look at the tape of his last 2 outings and see what he can figure out. HE isn't fooling anyone and we absolutely cannot win this thing with another outing like that from him.

It was already guaranteed to happen when the Braves made the biggest stage. It must be stood up to and defeated or it will swallow the Braves, and like cancer, kill it and move on to another target.

You’re probably right in that Trump attending will amplify the problem 10 fold which can only serve to exasperate the problem. But it would’ve existed regardless. Case in point SIs completely trash article listed on this board.

Nah, the MLB would MUCH rather the Braves win. Ya know, the same city that had the All-Star game taken from them.
Not sure what I was thinking. 10/11 games skewed toward the opposition is completely normal.

The general thought is Yordan in LF, Tucker in CF, Brantley in RF... but who knows how that's going to go. It's a downgrade defensively across the board, but I don't see Dusty wanting to take any of those bats out of the lineup.
Brantley started 8 games in RF this season, and 8 more in 2019 but that's his entire RF experience. Tucker only started 4 games in CF, but he did play a lot of CF in the minors.
Expect that to be the starting lineup with defensive subs (McCormick) or double-switches with McCormick pinch-hitting for the P spot.

Fair enough. I'm not trolling. I just think thats a remarkable opinion. We've been villainized so much that the thought of the Astros being "preferred" to win was surprising.
