Bellinger nearly fell down on his first swing, almost came out of his shoes on his second so Luke gives him a fastball letter high over the middle of the god damn plate lmao

It's not like Luke was on a good run of form coming into this game, he fricked up in game 2 as well.
Meanwhile, Matzek has been mowing everyone down since the playoffs started. If he stays in for the 8th, we're up 3-0.
It's literally that simple. It won't happen, but Luke cannot enter the game in any remotely high-leverage situation for the rest of the postseason, whether that's for the next 3 games or the next 11 games.

Need to find somehow, some way to get the W tomorrow. Being able to at least have game 6 in Atlanta to win it before the typical Atlanta do or die would keep me pretty optimistic.

People are trying to downplay it as “just one game,” but it was HUGE for us to get Buehler pulled early.
We capitalized on it, and then Snit and Luke fricked it up.
Hopefully we can bounce back, but that was our one win we needed in LA to get to the WS.
