Yeah losing is bad enough, but getting punked like that is a tough pill to swallow.

For whatever reason our team culture doesn't seem to have that edge to use shite like that to their benefit. Great trait to have in the regular season, but need someone to flip a switch and become those "motherfrickers" like Joc in October.

With that said, braves in 5

I will only accept either losing today and putting us out of our misery or winning the next two.

I will be fricking livid until spring training if we pull this one out today only to lose game 5 at home after giving us hope.

I can tell there are a lot of younger fans here. I've been a Braves fan since 1981. Watched them suck almost daily on TBS, then watched the miracle ten years later.

After the rise of the franchise, watching them lose over and over and over and over again because they didn't have a good offense. You just got used to it and numb to it.

This year is just another typical year for Braves baseball. Dominate the regular season only to choke in the post season. Every 20-25 years they will get lucky and win one.

There's a hell of a lot more to that story but I don't think you really give a shite to hear it out.

My biggest issue with the current playoff format is that home field advantage is basically null since the regular season division winner is trying to knock the rust off in that first game and then are fighting for their lives after that because it's only a 5 game series and games 3 and 4 are away.

I feel like it would be a better format for the regular season division winner to get games 2, 3, and 5 at home since the first game almost automatically goes to the wild card winner anyways.

Hopefully AA brings back Joc at the trade deadline next year to be our energy guy.

The Phillies fan sticking his finger down his throat so he could make himself throw up on a little girl wearing a Nationals jersey should have been fricking executed, but y'all cheer shite like that on

Dude literally got his arse handed to him by Phils fans while they held him until security came. dude has a shiner in his mug shot photo

quote:

Eagles fans bringing a casket to a tailgate with Sean Taylor's jersey on it (they can deny that all they want but those people knew EXACTLY what they were doing).

The casket had a "Party like its 1991" shirt draped on it. The last time the Skins made it to the Superbowl. The coffin suggested the death of the Skins, not Sean Taylor. But if it makes you feel better, Sixers forward Mike Scott attended the game, saw the coffin and beat up the guy that pulled the coffin stunt.

Eagles fans cheered while Michael Irvin was laying on the field with a spine injury

I'll give you that one, that was fricked.

quote:

Relentlessly booing Donovan McNabb the night he got drafted.

They really wanted Rickey Williams. Peyton, Eli, and JJ Watt got boo'd to where's your energy for that?

quote:

Flyers fans beating up a 17 year old Devils fan, sending him to the hospital, and then bragging about it on social media the next day.

Also fricked, but that behavior with hockey fans is not exclusive to the Flyers, a pregnant woman was punched by a Penguins fan, and a Devil's fan beat up a female Rangers fan during their playoff series.

Bro, I'm not trying to teach you the finer intricacies and nuances of the English language in this venue. I'll let you mull it over on your own.

Upset, angry, and pissed off are all synonyms of each other

You're upset "bro", its fine. Your jimmies are rustled. You're a little salty. Madder than a 3 legged bobcat burying his shite on a frozen lake.

Maybe we should just starting pretending MLB is like EPL. Regular season champs are the champs! Playoffs are a terrible way to crown the best team after a 162 game season tells us who the best team is damnit.

My coping defense mechanism: [ON]/[off]

Sour grapes aside, MLB should honestly consider this if they want to make 162 actually mean something. Premier league system would make a ton of sense for baseball.

It makes sense. But not cents. So it ain't happening.

The 4 team AL East v AL West / NL East v NL West / WS setup was probably the best balance between awarding the best overall teams and having an end of year showdown between the best teams we had but, again, that didn't make as much money so it ain't happening.

I can't escape the fricking still shot of Harper staring at Arcia. It's everywhere I go on the Internet.

If he hits another home run and does it again, you have to fight him if you're Orlando. Just charge him as he is rounding the bases. Can't let him stare at you again.

I believe they mean diff levels.

For example…

Angry - you get mad, usually this emotion comes with emotional disorder including yelling or shouting and perhaps violent behaviors.

Upset - Something makes you feel uncomfortable, and you feel emotional pain.

Pissed - You feel unfair or excessively annoyed so you're not cooperating with people.
