No way Culberson starts. Camargo probably takes the roster spot.
Lineup tomorrow is probably
Acuña RF
Freeman 1B
Ozuna DH
TDA C
Albies 2B
Swanson SS
Markakis LF
Riley 3B
Pache CF
Sandoval probably takes any big at bat from Pache and Riley moves to the outfield. Camargo can then come in and play 3B if we have the lead.
Or maybe they just move Riley to LF to start the game and bat Camargo 9th and at 3B. I would prefer starting Pache over Camargo but we’ll see.

All I know is, give Ozuna a blank check this offseason.
He has been so important to this team both on and off the field.

If I was Snit, my lineup tomorrow would be:
Acuna 9
Freeman 3
Ozuna 7
D'Arnaud 2
Albies 4
Swanson 6
Riley 5
Sandoval DH
Pache 8
Markakis has been terrible for awhile now and I don't see him doing anything at all against Kershaw. I know Ozuna is a liability in the outfield, but Pache and Acuna cover a ton of ground and may be able to help mask that a little.

Lefty DH with Kershaw?
That's gonna be a no from me, Dawg.

Remember when Braves fans bitched about Liberty Media not spending money for players?
I remember.

Panda vs. Kershaw all time:
.234 (15-64) 0 HR 7 RBI
That's going to be a hard no from me.

Awesome win last night... the Braves doing what they do and beating up relief pitching.
My guess is, we'll call up Ender. Lost an outfielder, call up an outfielder.
I don't see Ozuna doing anything other than DH.
Acuna - LF
Freddie - 1B
Ozuna - DH
D'arnaud - C
Ozzie - 2B
Dansby - SS
Riley - 3B
Markakis - RF
Pache - CF
Bench
Sandoval
Culbertson
Ender
Flowers

Panda is a switch hitter but not a very good right handed hitter. The real issue with that lineup is Ozuna playing the field in such a big outfield.

well he's a switch hitter, so that wouldn't be the reason why.
the numbers Murph posted, however are relevant. I was thinking that he would be a good option as someone who had a lot of at bats against Kershaw over the years, so I was disappointed to see Murphy post the weak arse numbers.

I would’ve had Pache, Ender for pinch running, Hech and Camargo on the bench

I think you have to go ahead and play Pache at this point. I watched him at AA and it just sounded different when he made good contact. The Braves have made it this far with great pitching. Adding a great outfielder will only help.

But does anyone really have great numbers against Kershaw?

I think the Braves will either call Camargo or Ender up. I think they might lean Camargo and play him at 3rd base, Riley in LF, and Pache in center against a lefty. Braves won’t bench Markakis but I would give anyone playing time ahead of him right now. He put up a -0.4 war this year and has a .167 OBP this postseason. I would be surprised if he’s on a major league roster next year.

You need Flowers as well and they would have to remove a pitcher to carry 5 bench players.
They made the decision to carry Culberson over Hech after Hech was so bad offensively and defensively the last couple weeks with regular PT.
Ender’s sprint speed and defense were both way down in the metrics. I don’t know why they went with him over Pache for as long as they did.

absolutely you are correct. my point was that I was hoping there would be some sort of underlying x-factor in having panda on the team lol. as murph says, those poor numbers were from his prime years as well (then again...they were also during Kershaw's younger/prime years) so there clearly isn't any real added value in starting panda unless absolutely necessary.

Drank? Calling Drank? Where is Drank? Nowhere to be found after the Riley HR last night.
