Interesting. Anthopolous having pitching tryouts with the prospects before the deadline...? Maybe we’ll see one of them start against KC next week. Touki had to go down, he’s been off since last season.

Touki had a nice stretch in May, I think, but otherwise he's been awful. Not sure why these guys think you can just throw a 95 mph fastball down the middle and get away with it these days. It's either that with him, or it's his funky delivery leading to inconsistency and poor command. Either way, I'm not sure I bring him up again for the rest of the year. He's had more opportunities than pretty much any other pitcher and has done jack squat with them.

The thing with Touki is that he’s got a lot of pitches in his arsenal but doesn’t utilize them to his advantage. He’s got to improve his command and figure out what it means to be a pitcher
