I was there for Hanson's first MLB start in 2009. He got lit up by the Brewers that day, but, you could tell he had the ability to be something special. Little did I know he'd be dead from alcohol and drugs a little over six years later before he turned 30. Really sad. You have no idea about some of these guys, how they really are, and what they do away from sports.
