Athlete that you most thought would be a superstar but ended up a bust?

I watched Dennis Smith Jr since he was in 8th grade and when he got drafted I thought he would be the next great NBA PG. Honestly Ja Morant has been everythinf I thought DSJ would be. What athlete did you most have high hopes for/think would be a superstar and ended up being a bust?

That LB who went to the Seahawks with the #5 pick, dude was a complete player and I thought the Saints made a mistake passing on him. Think he was from U of Washington

Ryan Leaf, I thought that he would be great and he turned out to be a flop.

We must be the same age. That is the first name that popped in my head as well.
I didn't realize that he played as long as he did. He was supposed to be the next stud though. He had a less than stellar career, at least to where people thought he would go.
