Yes, they would. If there’s not an edict from the top to not touch him, or some collusion here, he would have been picked by now. There’s nothing out there that bad to prevent him from being drafted

So when is it okay to draft him?

Oh well... guess he has character issues then. Sorry.

So you still haven't read the link with a direct quote from the TMZ exec?

You should be careful about calling other people dumbasses moving forward.

No, but telling a potential employer that you will smoke weed after they hire you is not a good look

The Steelers tagged Leveon Bell. They're paying a pothead with a lot of mileage and multiple failed drug tests $14 million when they could have a pothead with no strikes on a rookie contract.

Makes sense to pass on Guice if you think you cash get a good RB next year, but why tag Bell?

100% Lael Collins was nfl collusion

Nobody denies that

If Guice goes undrafted this will be clear as well

I honestly don’t say this from a place of being a homer

This seems very stupid from these teams

I just can’t see these “character issues” he has being big enough to cause them to take this many inferior players over him

ESPN said some scouts question his motivation. They say he needs to be challenged to produce. Who knows though?

Apparently Guice is a shithead that the coaching staff couldn’t wait to get rid of.

The guy has weight room records at LSU....

Just seems like something else is up

The nfl took a hard hit with the kneeling last year. Are the owners taking a stand against Guice for going public with their questioning?

If he isn’t taken in the 2nd round, you can’t convince me this isn’t collusion

I think the Redskins or Steelers will snag him.

As in a top down order? bullshite.

Collins told teams he'd sit out if drafted later than the 3rd round.

Someone is going to get a RB who was rated as a day 1 starter in the 3rd round, or later. That's crazy.

bullshite. Only like 5% of drafter players in the 6th and 7th round make it

Taking Collins there and making him prove he won’t sign would have been worth it

That was 100% collusion

I get why the nfl did it. Not blaming them

Earlier this week Peter King, in his MMQB column, wrote about the gamble that Collins agents took and how it was admittedly a bluff. I know most Panther fans have moved on, and lot had interest in the Collins story, but it appears six unidentified NFL teams called Collins agents with intentions of taking him, but were warned that doing so would be a wasted pick.

And I am saying that’s bullshite

Nfl teams would have still drafted him in the 6th and 7th even with him saying he won’t sign

By far worth the risk there

His agent came out and specifically did they were telling teams when they called that he'd sit out. He admitted after the draft it was a bluff.

I get your point, but if you wanted him, you had a chance to sign him in free agency rather than force him into a pick.

What is the motivation for the entire league to collude against a 2nd-3rd round RB???

100% teams would have taken him in the 6th round and made him sit out a full year

100%

It’s a joke to think otherwise

Most of their job is calling agents' bluffs.
