Don’t care about rings, teammates, bad luck whatever when he was rolling on offense with the colts and maybe even a little with Denver no one ever mastered a passing attack like manning. He was awesome. I’m a little to young for Dan Marino but I believe what I hear about him no doubt

2004 Colts offense was the peak mastery of the QB position.

no bc he wasn't clutch enough. Brady had major help on defense but people forget how good he was on 3rd downs. it is possible cheating helped, but if you disregard possible cheating, brady was better he was clutch and manning simplyv wasn't

Ruston flirted with the big pick all night and finally got it in the most crucial moment

I agree. Brady is great but overrated because he played in a trash division and always had a top 10 defense.

Put Manning on those patriot teams and I bet he has more superbowl s

That was a tough play but if they end up losing it’ll be because they dropped about 5 right in their hands

Roger Staubach was my favorite. The game wasn’t over til the last tick when he was in the game. Captain Comeback. He is where the term Hail Mary came from. A great qb who was fun to watch in college and pros. He won the heisman at Navy.

I’ve always believed that Manning as a pure player of the quarterback position was better than anyone else. His mastery of the position will probably never be matched. It was incredible watching him direct the offenses when he was healthy.

Didn't Joe Montana say Dan Marino would have been the best with this new style of offense?

Both Brady and Manning were better than Joe “Product of Bill Walsh” Montana

Every QB with integrity would say Marino is the best pure passer ever.

And, lets see Manning in the 70s. They didn't call Staubach, "Roger the dodger" because he had all day to throw and make a ham sandwich back there like Brady. Staubach took 7-step drops...think about that. And his QB rating dwarfed the rest of the league.

The biggest differential in QB rating among peers is Staubach in the 70s. Manning, Brees, Brady have had higher QB ratings but there's also a bunch of bums right behind them. That's the fallacy of modern NFL.
