Yankees are going to take a lot of pitches tonight. They know Morton can't maintain the zone for very long. Hopefully he pitches with conviction.

Game 4.... Peacock or Lance. Who you baws starting?

Peacock has been solid all year. Didn't look great his first playoff start. When Lance is on, he's filth and could exploit the Yanks strikeout problems. But, it's hard to have much trust in him after his 2nd half struggles. Also, he got shelled in his only start against the Yankees this year.

Over/under for how many runs will the loser in tonight's game have?

I put the line at 6.5.

I take the over. 9 runs needed for the win tonight.

If all this is true, then let me set the over/under for the time of game at 4 hours and 12 minutes....and give me the over.

I would like to see Peacock get another start. He didn't look comfortable in Boston but he was far from terrible, and he's been great all year.

Morton’s fixing to work the Yanks tonight, I’m confident in him.

They've been taking a lot of pitches all series...and striking out. Hell, all playoffs for that matter. Seven straight games with 10+ strikeouts...and all of those pitchers were not Keuchel and Verlander.

How much credit is/should be given to McCann for those pitching performances? Is his ability to call a game worth the pile of poop he's been at the plate?

I realize there’s a fine line between having a beta loser mentality and respecting your opponent, but I gotta admit I’m a little triggered at all the assumptions that Houston has already punched its ticket to the World Series

We made the big plays and earned it, but we are somewhat lucky to be up 2-0 right now. Also, NYY was down 2-0 last week against Cleveland and we know how that turned out.

Not trying to be pessimistic as I think we put ourselves in a great position...just trying to be mindful that we have plenty of work ahead of us to win this series

Agreed. Seems like most of those posters counting chickens aren't Astros fans though. This series is nowhere close to being over with.

Astros made the pitches and defensive plays, and got the key hits when we needed them. Yankees did not. Luck has little to do with it.

I don't think it's luck, but we are not far from being down 2-0. We definitely need to start generating some offense.

Sabathia shouldn't go very long. Just read that last time he went >80 pitches was 9/11. Win or lose, hopefully we can get to their bullpen early and start to tax them a little bit for this 2-3 game stretch.
