Aside from Holland, who is awful? Colby was having an all-star season and Hamels, Perez and Griffin have been great when they've pitched. Apart from Holland, literally everyone else has a sub 4 ERA. Not sure I really follow there.

Hamels is good.

Colby has been one of the luckiest pitchers in baseball, bar none. .234 BABIP while allowing 37% hard hit rate is nowhere near sustainable, not to mention a low strikeout pitcher stranding 79% of baserunners.

Perez is another that is combining a career high hard hit rate with a career low BABIP and a 79% strand rate. His K-BB% is 1.5%. That's absolutely awful.

Griffin has gotten fairly lucky as well, but at least he misses some bats. He's fine as a back of the rotation guy.

Bringing in someone who is playing well on a sub .500 team else is just threatening to ruin team chemistry.

That's been the key to the Rangers' success: having the most cohesive clubhouse in baseball.

Stanton started hot and has been hot lately. Let's not act like he's sucked all year

Their pitching sucks and bour & ozuna have carried them. Neither are as good as their hitting

As is, they are 20th in the MLB in runs scored and 11/15 in the NL. They have 3 teams in the east that are below them. Think about that. Their lineup is far from awesome

I mean baseball is probably the luckiest sport in existence. No matter what, teams who win do so with some kind of 'luck'.

Regardless, Colby has always been a serviceable pitcher for Texas.

Part of Martin's success his ability to induce ground balls. Leads the majors in resulted double plays which have gotten him out of numerous jams.

I like Griffin a lot. His fb mixed with his huge curve is honestly unfair.

I would rather try and fill our gaps with guys in the system like Bregman and Musgrove than deal someone.

Absolutely, but I see a log jam of AAA talent. Not good enough yet to permanently be on the 25 man roster while AA guys will certainly be taking their AAA jobs over the next 12 months.

I want to move out of the Trop and into a new downtown stadium.

Make a move for a solid offensive outfielder and I'll feel pretty good about the Giants. Although it's not like we are suffering too bad at the moment.

No more Montero. He's slow as hell and can't throw anyone out. Not to mention his bat has been an absolute joke this year. Get whatever you can for him.

I still have faith in Soler, but if we moved him for some pitching help I wouldn't be too upset.

Pitching will be our main focus of need. Bullpen specifically.

I think Soler and LaStella will get moved

We have pretty much no left handed hitting. I don't think he goes. Maddon loves him too.

I didn't want Soler to go until the off season with Schwarber out but shite, Contreras in LF takes his spot and upgrades it.

La Stella's trade value is practically non exisitant, too. Unless he is a throw in, but he is more valuable to us

I say we make a time machine, go back 2 years, and don't trade everyone with talent

So we dont trade Upton. He just leaves in free agency.
We dont trade Heyward. He leaves in free agency.
We dont trade Kimbrell. He is the closer for a team that has no chance at the playoffs.
We dont trade Simmons. He still doesnt hit, is blocking either Peraza or Abies at short. Still doesnt put us with a winning record.

Bethancourt, Freeman, Castro(?), C Johnson, Simmons, Gattis, BJ Upton, Markakis(if we sign him)

Teheran, Wood, ???, ???, ???

We would have one of the worst minor league system if it wasnt for that trade, and we would have a below average major league team.

What do you think we'd do with an extra SP? Just put Hendricks or Hammel in the bullpen unless someone got hurt? I know the depth is zero, I just mean currently.

Trade Vizcaino, Norris, Markakis

Trade Teheran if you get equal or better value in return

Trade or release AJP, Jim Johnson, Aybar, Brckham

Earn the #1 pick

Trade a handful of our young pitchers for an impact bat (offseason).

Agree with all of your ideas except this. Trading Teheran would give me the sadz and he's on such a great deal.

*Unless someone offered something just outlandish that Coppy cannot refuse. Even then I would hate to see him go.

Cardinals need some bullpen help, possibly a Centerfielder.

I never root to lose, but i wouldn't mind if they became sellers. they have some guys that could give teams some pop in lineup or on bench. Wouldn't mind them trading rosie.

But they will stay in the WC race, and Mo will look for low hanging fruit at deadline. meh
