I've been pulling for SPU. No MAAC team has ever made it to the Sweet 16.
Shaheen Holloway is a classy guy. I do not know whether he will stay at SPU or move on to Seton Hall. But I thought it was pretty classless of former Iona coach, Kevin Willard, to say that he would be very happy if Shaheen got the Seton Hall job.
I have no real love for Seton Hall. They hired our AD, then our men's basketball coach (Kevin Willard, who took his assistant, Sha Holloway with him), then our woman's basketball coach (Tony Bozzella), then our College President (Joseph Nyre).
I hope that Sha continues to enjoy his run in the NCAAs and wish him and the Peacocks the best - until we sweep them again next season.
